Faravahar is the symbol of the winged body, which in the common view of archaeologists and Iranologists is a symbol of Ahuramazda. The oldest use of this symbol in Iran is the time of Darius I, and its use in the inscriptions of Biston and Persepolis. This painting is several thousand years old and has been seen in other places and among other peoples, but its current form is seen in Achaemenid inscriptions above the heads of kings. The height of this 18 cm inscription is less than one kilogram and it is made of polyester. This statue was made in the workshop “Tandis Shahriar”.
